Sharing the work, building partnerships
How churches can meet, invite and walk alongside the Kunenes.
What is deputation?
Deputation is the season in which missionaries visit churches to share what God is doing in their ministry, answer questions and build lasting partnerships of prayer and giving. It is how many congregations first meet the missionaries they will support.
Our work with the Church of the Nazarene
The Kunenes are missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene, serving in Kenya through Africa Nazarene University.
How your church can partner
- Pray for the family and for the students and learners they serve at Africa Nazarene University.
- Invite the Kunenes to share in a Sunday service, a missions evening, a ministers’ gathering or a small group.
- Give through the official Nazarene giving page. Churches in the USA are asked to use the Funding the Mission channel (see the Support page).
Nazarene churches can also use the denomination’s own scheduling tools: missionary speaker page (opens in a new tab) · scheduling form (opens in a new tab).
